You’ll ‘never feel safe’ in Alien: Isolation

As Creative Assembly puts it: Aliens: Isolation is a game where "you'll never feel safe." But to establish this feeling of uneasy tension, the developer first had to create an enemy terrifying enough to instill this constant fear in you.

"When audiences went to see Alien back in 1979 they were introduced to a new creature that was terrifying, unstoppable, and totally unique," says Alien: Isolation creative lead Al Hope. "We wanted to make a game that recaptured that original experience. We wanted to make the alien scary again."

To that end, SEGA has released a new behind-the-scenes that explains how Creative Assembly is achieving their goal in creating this alien, from the design to the unpredictable coding put in place.

Alien: Isolation is due out in late 2014 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
