You’ll never hear the same impact or explosion twice in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Continuing its series of behind the scenes videosĀ for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Activision today released a new video focusing on the game's development and delivery of sound. The latest video features Slegdehammer Games Audio Director Don Veca as he details an audio intelligence system that makes virtually every impact and explosion sound in the game unique.

"A huge part of audio for Advanced Warfare is building intelligence into our systems not to just play back cool sounds, but to monitor the outside world," Veca explains in the video below. "The cool thing about that is not only does it sound more realistic, but you virtually never hear the same impact or explosion twice."
