Madden NFL 25 is in a weird spot, coming to both current- and next-gen systems. The tricky spot for fans is that it's set to release on August 27 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the Xbox One and PS4 versions don't yet have a release date (since we don't know when the actual systems will launch). So what happens to all your progress? Regardless of the earlier launch on current-gen, EA Sports has announced that your Madden Ultimate Team will carry over to next-gen.
"The carry-over will apply to those transferring Gen3 to Gen4 across PS3 to PS4 only and X360 to Xbox One only," Ea Sports said.
Madden NFL 25 is offering the opportunity to transfer up to 1,100 Madden Ultimate Team items onto next-gen consoles. By logginginto the game on next-gen consoles with your Origin Account and respective Xbox LIVE or PSN anncount, you'll be able to take with you over 100 active items (55 players, 45 additional items) and up to 1,000 reserve items from your games on current generation systems. The players and items can still be used in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, but can not be auctioned or traded.
One last thing, anyone who participates in this offer will be granted six Madden Ultimate Team All Pro Packs to be used on next-gen consoles. Boom!
