YouTube has released their list of "Most-Viewed Gaming Videos" and "Most Popular Games of 2015," regardless of whether or not we are still in the first half of December. The lists were revealed in conjunction with a survey of the people who watch gaming videos on YouTube.
According to a survey YouTube conducted with market research firm Ipsos MediaCT, 30% of US gamers on YouTube are women, approximately one third of them are over 35, and 47% of them are parents. It might be something to keep in mind when reviewing the top games (the study doesn't account for children using their parent's accounts).
It's interesting to note that Halo 5 did not make it into the list of most popular games, nor did Star Wars Battlefront… Even though Battlefront appeared in the 'most-viewed' category.
