YouTube wants you to overlay Darude’s Sandstorm over any video

Well, this is my first April Fools' post of the day, and while I tend to hate this day for all its fake news I sometimes wish were real, YouTube's joke caught me off guard.

YouTube has added a music button to all videos, which when pressed plays a short sound clip from Darude's Sandstorm. Hilarious, right? Just try and press the button after each pause during little Noah's "Apparently" interview. It's stupidly fun.

However, the joke actually goes slightly deeper than that. When you try and search for an artist on YouTube, among the results is a message saying "Did you mean: Darude – Sandstorm by Darude?

*Slow clap*

However, turns out that this elaborate and yet very effective stunt is actually promoting Darude's latest song, 'Beautiful Alien,' which was released today.

My takeaway from this? Darude is still relevant guys!
