Ys Origin hitting Steam later this month

Xseed Games is bringing Ys Origin to Steam later this month with English text.

The seventh installment to be released, Ys Origin ranks first in the series chronology and is the only game not to center on protagonist Adol Christin. Rather, it focuses on the twin Goddesses Reah and Feena and features three playable characters, each with their own story and unique gameplay style: platforming, shoot 'em up, and berserker-style melee.

After finishing the main game, players can enjoy Time Attack, Boss Rush, and Arena modes. Adol Christin is an unlockable guest character.

Nihon Falcom premiered Ys Origin in Japan in 2006. Xseed Games brought Ys: The Oath in Felghana to Steam in March.
