Yup, Bungie just trolled Destiny players with the King’s Fall secret room

Oh, f*ck you, Bungie. Since the release of Destiny, the developer has repeatedly found a way to troll its community. And the latest comes in the form of a secret room recently discovered by a group of Guardians.

For much of the past weekend, Destiny's community has been working together to solve the mystery of this hidden room in The Taken King's new raid, King's Fall. The general consensus is that it's a room being prematurely discovered with more potential once the hard-mode version of King's Fall releases.

The truth?

If game designer Luke Smith isn't f*cking with us more, it's nothing more than an Easter Egg. Smith took to Twitter to reveal that the mysterious room, which features a Relic you can dunk into a statue repeatedly to receive the Overcharge buff has no actual purpose.

It's possible he's still trolling us. There's just something incredibly sarcastic sounding about that tweet that leads me to believe there is a greater purpose to the room. But maybe that's just denial from the hours spent trying to decode what this room means.

So believe him, or don't and hold out for disappointment until hard-mode King's Fall releases.
