Z-Ring bracelet from Pokémon Sun and Moon will be an actual thing

A brand new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon landed this morning, and with it came a ton of news. Much like Mega Evolutions in Pokémon X and Y, Sun and Moon will be spicing up battles with Z-Moves.

Essentially, it’s a powerful attack that can be unleashed once per battle, and it changes based on the Pokémon’s type. No word on if this will be replacing Mega Evolutions in the game, but if not, your in-game avatar may be wearing two wristbands as Z-Moves require some fancy dance moves and a Z-Ring to be executed.

As almost a giant middle finger to Yo-kai Watch, which very clearly took a lot on inspiration from Pokémon, Sun and Moon players will get the chance to invest in the own piece of plastic crap to strap to their wrist. That’s right, when you play the seventh generation of games you can wear your very own Z-Ring which will interact with your 3DS.

No word on pricing or release date, but we assume the accessory will be available in time for Sun and Moon which launch globally on November 18th!
