Zelda: Breath of the Wild reportedly to be Nintendo Switch launch title, maybe not in Europe

Even though it was suggested by Nintendo that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be delayed, a number of insiders have begun claiming that Breath of the Wild for a March release, alongside the Nintendo Switch.

Eurogamer is now supporting insider claims, saying that Breath of the Wild has indeed been pushed to meet the Nintendo Switch's release – at least in North America. According to sources close to Nintendo, plans have been finalized to include the Breath of Wild in the Switch's launch lineup.

Nintendo of Europe initially pushed for a longer period of testing and localization for Breath of the Wild, so it's unclear whether Nintendo will force the March release in Europe or allow them to continue on with their decision to delay.

A Switch reveal event is being held next week, which will definitely bring more details to light.
