ZeniMax trademarks the word ‘Dragonborn’

ZeniMax Media has filed a trademark application for "Dragonborn," a person born with a dragon's blood and soul in a mortal body, according to the lore of Skyrim.

The company, which owns Bethesda — developer of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim — submitted the application on May 15. ZeniMax previously trademarked the dragon shout "Fus Ro Dah."

This recent filing covers "computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices."

Earlier this month, Bethesda announced the DLC pack "Dawnguard," due out this summer.
