Zodiac revealed at TGS 2014

This years Tokyo Game Show has dropped tons of Final Fantasy bombs and it's still delivering them – well, kind of.

The French developer, Kobojo, has teamed up with iconic developers from the Final Fantasy series to bring us a new 2D Vita and iOS game named Zodiac. Wondering who the iconic developers are? There's Kazushige Nojima that wrote the scenarios in Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and more. Hitoshi Sakimoto is also on the team, Sakimoto has composed the score for multiplae Final Fantasy games (and over 80 other games).

There's a lot more to the team but let's look at the game a little more! The game is described as a "persistently online role-playing game" – which could very well translate to always-online RPG. Zodiac blends classic JRPG elements with 'stylish' gameplay – it will bring us on a journey into a world that was previously inhabited and ruled by gods. It will be our mission to uncover and explore an ancient prophecy that will have us master the 12 Zodiac signs.
