Towards the beginning of April Zombieland 2 was officially revealed to be in development. The announcement came with almost no details what-so-ever, besides the fact that the film was still happening despite the silence surrounding it.
According to reports, Zombieland 2 will begin filming in Atlanta, Georgia this August. Other than this tidbit of information, Zombieland 2 remains shrouded in mystery.
As far as we know, Ruben Fleischer, the director from 2009's Zombieland will be returning to man the helm, along with co-writer, Paul Wernick. Whether Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin will return is unknown, but hoped for.
Initial production for the film began in September 2014 before drifting into some kind of limbo.
