An independent film based on the classic zombie shooter Zomies Ate My Neighbors is currently in the works, and it doesn’t seem like your average zombie flick. Produced by John Darko, the movie is a comedic horror film starring Zeke and Julie, the two protagonists seen in the game.
Though Darko is currently working on obtaining the rights and some financial backing, the film is said to be coming along just fine. The movie will feature themes from the SNES game, but Zombies Ate My Neighbors will tell its own story and feature plenty of zombie-slaying, humor, and comic mischief.
