Zone of the Enders VR Announced for PS4 and PC

Zone of the Enders was an action mech game from the PlayStation 2 era. Published by Konami, it was a cult classic of its time. At Sony's briefing at the Tokyo Game Show, it was revealed that the series would be making a return with a VR remake of Zone of the Enders 2, which they're calling Anubis Zone of the Enders Mars.

According to Famitsu, the title will feature enhanced graphics, support for 4K resolution, and of course, it will feature VR. They're also touting "next-gen surround sound," which they didn't go into huge detail about, and describes the experience as a way to "relive the odyssey from a new perspective."

There were other features they teased at, though no specific details. It's likely that they'll be revealed at a later date.

Anubis Zone of the Enders Mars is being developed by Cygames and will launch in Spring 2018 on PlayStation VR and also PC. In other PlayStation news, Final Fantasy IX has been confirmed and released on PlayStation 4.
