10 completely ridiculous film remakes that should star Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill

Yesterday, it was announced that Sony is going to expand the Jump Street universe with a female-driven cast. I thought that's why Channing Tatum was in it to begin with, because abs. Guess not. Channing and Tatum and Jonah Hill will be moving on to a new universe — Men In Black… because why the hell not. 

The whole idea of crossover of Jump Street and Men In Black confuses me. Are Tatum and Hill the same characters they were in Jump Street, only they're Men In Black now? It's obvious that everyone loves pairing Tatum and Hill together, so why don't we just reboot a bunch of films with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill? Lucky for you, me and my poor Photoshop skills re-imagined 10 films  where Tatum and Hill can do the buddy cop/partner thing thing and make everyone love them even more.

I swear some studio exec somewhere is going to think these are good ideas…

1. Lethal Weapon

Tatum and Hill are NOT too old for this sh*t.

2. Starsky and Hutch

Tatum and Hill as cops in the 1970s? Anyone? Anyone?

3. Beverly Hills Cop

We'll re-brand it as Beverly Hills Cops since Eddie Murphy won't settle on a script.

4. Tango & Cash

How has this not already been remade? Hollywood is slacking…

5. Pulp Fiction

Now that I look at the picture, Jonah Hill should be Jules Winnfield. He can grow his hair out.

6. Top Gun

The sole reason for this: how awesome would that beach volleyball scene be?

7. White Chicks

I know Robert Downey Jr. kind of already did it, but Tatum and Hill pretending to be black men, pretending to be white women. It can work.

8. Bad Boys

Already going into one Will Smith franchise, might as well do another.

9. Rush Hour

No one wants a Rush Hour TV show, and no one wants washed-up Chris Tucker.

10. True Detective

Season 3 is going to be a lot different…
