10 wrestlers snubbed from WWE 2K16

9. Gangrel and the Brood (David William Heath)

Gangrel came into the WWE in the late 90's in the beginning of the attitude era (the good years) as a vampire wrestler and his signature item was a goblet of blood, or Hawaiian Punch, your pick. With former Brood teammates Edge and Christian already staples in WWE games, Gangrel needs a spot on the roster. Although he was only around a few years, Gangrel was a headliner for nearly his entire career and his entrance animation in a 2K game would be beyond bad ass

10. Al Snow (Allen Ray Sarven)

WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT? WHAT DOES EVERYBODY NEED? That stupid head he used to talk to. Remember that thing? It was so dumb it was funny. But before he was one of the main guys on Tough Enough TV show, Al Snow was in the WWE in the late 90s during the Attitude Era. After the head went by the wayside, he found a stuffed dog named Pepper as his new "teammate". Al Snow didn't have too big of a career as a wrestler, but it would just be fun to see the head back in one of those funny interview segments during the game. Besides, we all need us some head right? (Come on, ya gotta give me that one)

There's many wrestlers that may be your favorites I may have misssed, but let us know which ones. They can of course be from any era you want as well as including divas. I stuck to only Superstars for this list in order to avoid making it too big. WWE 2K16 launches October 27th, 2015 on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms. We're looking forward to your responses.

5. Brooklyn Brawler – Steve Lombardi

Everyone growing up in the 80s remembers the Brooklyn Brawler. His classic denim jeans and ripped white tee shirt. He never really had a real stint in the WWF as he was more of a gimmick wrestler. In fact, he was the Rock's first ever opponent back in the mid 90's. For someone who was more of a gimmick as mentioned, the Brawler did not officially retire until 2014 and worked for over 30 years in the WWF/WWE. A great, classic throwback wrestler, the Brawler should be included.

6. Marty Jannetty (Fredrick Jannetty)

As Shawn Michaels' first partner as part of the Rockers, Jannetty was betrayed by HBK back in 92 in part of the script of him going off on his own. Also partners with 1-2-3 Kid, better known as X-Pac, Jannetty got some sweet chin music from HBK while talking with Brutus the Barber Beefcake before HBK threw him through a plate glass window. Jannetty never returned and lives in New Jersey now but was partly responsible for the rise to fame of the most famous wrestlers in the company's history and should be in the game at some poiint, even with his infamous ending with the WWF

7. Superstar Billy Graham (Eldridge Wayne Coleman)

Billy Graham was basically Hulk Hogan before there was a Hulk Hogan. He even looked like Hogan with the classic blonde handle bar mustache and bald head but clashed with the Mcmahon's in the early 80's. Superstar Billy Graham was the WWF champion for nearly a year after beating another legend in Bruno Sammartino. You think mentoring the most famous wrestler in the history of the world in Hulk Hogan would garner enough points to get him in the game. Let's hope we see him in one soon.

8. Papa Shango (Charles Wright)

I know, who saw that real name coming, right? Not too many people know this but Papa Shango was also the same guy who played the Godfather in the Nation of Domination. Now, Wright is actually returning in this year's version but as the Godfather and not Papa Shango. Although he wasn't in the WWE too long as Shango, we'll all remember him and the Warrior and that voodoo stunt with the black ooze on Warrior's head looking like something out of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Anyway, even as the Godfather, who'll forget Jerry Lawler yelling "THE HOES!, THE HOES!" when he would bring the Ho train in?

With WWE 2K16 due out tomorrow and a roster featuring 120 superstars, we took a look at some of the snubs — our favorite classic wrestlers we would have loved to see in the game. Many are from years ago and helped elevate the WWE to the level of popularity it has today. Some were involved in tag teams and thus we included both teammates. Let us know what you think and what favorites of yours we may have missed. And by the way, we've included entrance themes instead of photos to provide more of that reminiscing feeling for you. Enjoy!

1. Koko B Ware – (James Ware)

Many people don't know this, but Koko B Ware was in the first ever match on the first episode of Monday Night Raw. Losing to Yokozuna, Koka B Ware was known for his ringmate Frankie, his blue and yellow tropical macaw bird that would accompany him on his shoulder on the way to the ring. He retired from the WWF in 1994 and is currently 58 years old. He is a member of the WWE hall of fame from 2009 and yet has been left off the final roster count of the all time biggest wrestling game ever made. I need me some Koko B Ware.

2. Junkyard Dog – Sylverster Ritter (RIP 1998)

Passing away at only 47 years old in 1998, the Junkyard Dog was a staple of the WWF in the 1980s. He even took part in the first Wrestlemania ever against the Hammer Valentine. A member of the 2004 Hall of Fame class, the legendary JYD and his vintage neck dog collar should have definitely been included in the game.

3. Strike Force Tag Team – Rick Martel (Richard Vigneault) and Tito Santana (Merced Solis)

For a couple years in the late 80s, both Santana and Martel teamed up and their main rivals were the Islanders and the Hart foundation with Brett and Jim the Anvil. There wasn't a wrestling event or even a standard Saturday afternoon (yeah, WWF used to be on every saturday at noon) that went by without the Strike Force showing up in the ring. With so many tag team, tornado and handicap matches in WWE 2K games nowadays, Strike Force would be a great addition for classic fans.

4. Butterbean – Eric Scott Esch

Perhaps best remembered for his bigtime KO of Bart Gunn in a boxing match in 99', Butterbean wouldn't be the first guest star to appear in a WWE game. After all, MIke Tyson has been in it and the Terminator is in this year's version. Before the Bart Gunn fight, he fought Marc Mero a couple years before that.
