Anyone can sit on their couch and watch the ball drop on New Year's Eve. And who wants to brave mother nature at Times Square. Then there are friends' parties to go to, but who wants to drive?
Not me. I'm the one having people drive to my house. But let's say you're going to be playing video games come midnight — what are the best game locations to watch the ball drop (assuming they have that giant light bulb)?
We used our tired brains to come up with the best five locations video games and serve them to you with some shrimp and a glass of champagne.
Assassin’s Creed Unity – Paris
It takes place in Paris. While you’re watching the guillotine drop, you can also watch the ball drop.
Destiny – The Tower
Not only does it have quite the view, but it already has a giant ball that would be awesome/terrifying to watch drop.
Until Dawn’s Retreat
A remote mountain retreat. A cozy fire. Some champagne. And friends. Sounds like the perfect, quiet, indoor evening.
Far Cry 4 – Pagan Min’s Palace
Yea, Pagan Min is a nut case. But you know he could throw a helluva party, and I heard the crab rangoon is pretty good.
Transistor – Cloudbank
Assuming you’re not being attacked by The Process, Cloudbank is a gorgeous city. It would be great to welcome 2015 listening to Red’s beautiful voice.
