5th Cell Moves Up to XBLA with “Pretty Big” New Game

Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell has been the belle of the (zombie, lolcat, Cthulu) ball in recent weeks, with their title being one of the most unique on the DS platform. Now, the company looks to be moving on to “greener” pastures, pun not intended.

In an interview with Gamasutra, creative director Jeremiah Slaczka revealed that the company would be leaving the DS and jumping on the downloadable bandwagon with their next game, being made for Xbox Live Arcade.

We’re doing an Xbox Live Arcade title next, and it’s going to be pretty big,” he says. It’s going to be really cool. We’re very excited about it… it’s totally not ready to be announced. It’s far away. The only thing that we’ve really announced is we’re working on console stuff, and we’ll see where it goes.

Bigger than what was available in Scribblenauts? Can’t wait to see what 5th Cell comes up with.
