Activision acquires Vicarious Visions

The current home of Spider-Man, Tony Hawk, and many upcoming titles for multiple consoles and handheld systems has found a new owner. Activision, in an effort to play a bigger role in the development of cutting edge videogames has purchased Vicarious Visions. Financial details of the sale weren’t disclosed, but the transaction did go smoothly according to insiders. The management of Vicarious Visions has already signed long-term contracts with Activision, so the talent behind Spider-Man 2, a best seller on the Nintendo DS, will remain intact.tregddvsfvsfsdgdsdsvsvsdvsvsd
