Art Style: BASE 10 Not For Southpaws

In a rare miss for the Art Style series, Yesterday’s Art Style: BASE 10 has one big problem for roughly 10% of gamers. It doesn’t have a mode for lefties.

The game is played holding the DSi on its side, “book style.” That’s just fine and dandy for those of us with proper right-handed tendencies, but those horrible left-handed mutants obstruct the left (top) screen when they play.

Yes, it looks like Art Style: BASE 10 joins standard guitars and stick shift cars in the ranks of things that are incompatible with left-handedness. For what it’s worth, Art Style: BASE 10 is essentially a Bejeweled clone with math. At least there’s no problem with Art Style: PiCTOBiTS, right?
