Sonic Rush
Published by SEGA
Developed by Sonic Team
Released November 15, 2005
Why we chose it: Sonic Rush is kind of a blast from the past for Sonic. This game is very reminiscent of his past adventures on the Genesis. Sonic Rush does very little different from those Sonic classics except throw in some cool 3D-esque boss fights. If you ask me I say – It’s about time! I have been waiting for a return to Sonic’s roots for a long time. The GBA Sonics just didn’t quite do it for me. Sonic Rush is just as fast and just as hard as the old goodies. There is nothing like holding down the right button and then screaming and yelling as you crash into an enemy you didn’t see coming because you are going that fast and then running around trying to collect all of YOUR rings that are now bouncing all over the screen! I love it!
