Why we chose it:Casltevania: Dawn of Sorrow stormed into stores in October, and provided us fans of the series with are much needed 2D fix. A sequel to the award winning Casltevania: Aria of Sorrow, Dawn picks up right where Aria ended and further chronicles the exploits of Soma Cruz. This game also implements some touch screen functionality, like breaking ice blocks with the stylist, or drawing seals to banish bosses from our world. Combine this with Soma’s abilitiy to capture enemy’s souls, and you one of the best games to be released this year, and the Best Platformer of 2005.
