Today’s games aren’t like they use to be. With Call of Duty 2 around, historical WWII first-person shooter games have really been pushed to the limits.
Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360 gives a crucial meaning to the word, breakthrough. Not only it is one of the best influential titles, but it gives an experience like no other. Most people say that the PC version of Call of Duty 2 is nothing compared to the Xbox 360 version; not true in some cases. The PC version is great, though let’s see what the Xbox 360 version and its features has to offer.
With Call of Duty 2, Xbox 360 helps to create a more intense feel and experience for players. At some points of this game, it’ll make you want to cry because its so wonderful to simply watch. Even if you haven’t even touched the Call of Duty franchise, you’re in for a rude awakening.
A Rude Awakening
Unlike like the PC version, the 360 is based on selectivity and clarity. On most Call of Duty games, you have three interwoven campaigns. For starters, you’ll start off as a Russian private that will face torment with the Germans in Moscow and Stalingrad. There is also the British and the Americans out of those three levels. It seems sort of easy at first, though with any game you have to simply follow instructions. You could throw grenades or use a battle rifle to finish off the enemies.
Sometime during the gameplay, you’ll start to feel the need of some type of guerilla warfare. Well, with this game, it’s a bit hard to do so. Once you really get pumpin’, you’ll start to find a lot of quick-thinking soldiers that will guide you through your journey. The AI from the other soldiers are a lot more upgraded and on-point. At least you can figure out what the hell they’re talking about while you’re playing.
You’ll do a lot of hiding, shooting and running in the Russian campaign. While ducking and dodging bullets, it’s best to proceed under the pipelines and start crawling through German lines. After that, you’ll start to see them shooting at you. Switching to heavier artillery like tanks and picking up a med-kit would be the best thing in this situation. If not, then you’ll fall right into the hands of the German army. Remember, your crew is there to assist you, some may space out because they’re getting shot, though your job is to handle those orders the best way you can without getting shot.
