Chromehounds Goes Gold

From Software is quite infamous in terms of their development of mech-combat games, and while they occasionally churn out an RPG or two, their mech games have always remained some of the best in the industry and the highlight of their portfolio. So it is no wonder that Sega was quick to pick up the localization rights for From Software’s latest mech game, Chromehounds, and has announced that the game has gone gold and will ship to Xbox 360 owners in North America on July 11 for the (now standard) third party retail price of $59.99.

The game features an expansive single-player campaign where gamers can take the sides of one of three main factions in a post-apocalyptic setting using six different types of mech “hounds.” The game also supports various online-play modes such as the standard capture-the-flag, deathmatch, and free-for-all settings, as well as a “persistent Neroimus war mode” that will supposedly continue the scenario from the main game in online play.

Advanced Media will have more on Chromehounds as we come upon its impending release, so be sure to stay tuned for the very latest.
