Classic Mode Returns to Smash Bros.

Nintendo announced today on the Smash Bros. DOJO!! that the single player Classic mode will be seeing a return to the series

Players will begin the mode by choosing their character and battling it out through a pattern of themed levels. Examples given are players starting out in the world of Zelda in stage one and Pokémon being featured in stage three.

Classic mode will also keep you on your toes by switching up the rules and status of enemies. Sometime matches will feature opponents who are giant or have taken on the metal ability. Team matches will also have a part in Brawl’s Classic mode.

Players will then earn coins upon completion of the game mode. What players will be able to spend the coins on however remains a mystery. It was revealed that you won’t be using them in a shop however. One possibility is the return of the trophy machine.
