Majesco today announced that its award winning Nintendo DS title, Cooking Mama, has shipped more than 500,000 units to retail since its launch 11 months ago.
“We are excited by the sales performance of Cooking Mama as it reinforces Majesco’s content and platform strategy,†said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing. “We look forward to further building the franchise while introducing new players to the fun and unique gameplay within Mama’s kitchen.â€
Cooking Mama was one of the most unique DS titles when it was released last year. Majesco is currently planning a sequel to be released next year. Stay tuned.
