During its annual Square Enix Party this weekend Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy Crisis Core will be releasing on the PSP on September 13, 2007.
Crisis Core will have players take control of SOLDIER member Zack. The game takes place 2 yrs before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Expect some answers about Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth to be answered in this upcoming title.
Joining Zack Fair is a new member of soldier named Angeal Hewley. Angeal travels with Zack and they have a strong trust within each other. Angeal is the teacher and Zack is his student. Angeal also has very close ties with Sephiroth and the Genesis characters within the game. In the magazine they reveal one screen of Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis in a confrontation in the city of Junon.
No American release date has been announced at this time. Expect an announcement from Square Enix at around E3 this July.
