Dark Souls II Boss Guide: Vendrick

Good ole King Vendrick. The man has clearly seen better days, especially since the first time you come across him he is just pacing around endlessly while hollowed. the key to making this guy super easy is collecting multiple giant souis before taking him on. I think you can get 5 in one playthrough. To fight this guy, just watch his swings and roll accordingly. One swing is delayed a bit so really wait until the sword moves at you and not just once it enters motion. When he swings at you, try to roll behind him so he either stops swinging or completely misses leaving room for you to punish him. Vendrick is an optional boss.
