David Jaffe Berates the PS3 (Dev Kit)

As is generally the case with David Jaffe’s blog posts, or at the very least, the most memorable ones, he violently uses words to curse and destroy things. Today my fellow Kombo-ans, we are given yet another treat from his profane goody basket. Cue censored Jaffe rant:

POOPY! Today I broke off my 6th stinking USB port thingy that hooks the controller up to the dev kit. I know you can’t tell all that well from this pic [shown to the right], but that little black tab on the floor is the thing that hooks the end of the usb cable into the ps3. And they are very, very fragile for some unknown, labryrithian reason. And I was simply walking by the quite poorly designed and packaged dev kit and the cord caught on my leg and snap! The blessed piece just popped and shut my day down. According to our producer Angelic, she has already had to send 8 of the sable tormentors of my soul in for repair! So at least I don’t feel so bad about being the only one this happens to. But still…POOPY!

Clearly this isn’t a remote issue. The worst part is that it happened too late in the day for him to get a unit shipped in the following day. The kicker is that wireless controllers don’t work, or at the very least haven’t for him, so he’s got to wait to play “the game.” For the full uncensored version, click on that source link.
