Dead Space 2 DLC Announced

 

Dead Space 2 is out today, for you eager beavers ready to get your horror on. It’s one hell of a scary game, and fans of the franchise are going to get a major kick out of it. Me? Well, I’ve been watching my roommate play it for a couple days now, and let’s just say it’s unsettling enough for me to keep away. I’m kind of a pansy.

However! There are plenty of fans of the game, and EA wants to keep those people pleased. How are they going to do it? Well, even though Dead Space 2 has only been out for a day, they figure this would be a good time to announce the first batch of DLC, a short series of single player levels called Severed. It will tell the story of Gabe and Lexine,  the two survivors of Extraction, which you can currently play on the Wii and PS3 (if you buy the first run print of Dead Space 2, that is).

Anyway, price and release date have not be announced, but considering the fantastic response the game has received so far, it hopefully will not be too far off.
