Ah, the days of vanilla World of Warcraft. We were given a brand new world to explore, sights to see, places to go, things to do.
There was also a lot of walking.
A. Lot. Of. Walking.
There was also a bombardment of Looking for Groups for the dungeons we'd encounter while leveling up. Blizzard decided to try to fix that second issue with Meeting Stones — a very, very old precursor to the Looking for Group tool.
Let's take another trip down memory lane and remember Meeting Stones and their only good use: a ganking hotspot.
I'd also like a moment of silence because I had to re-subscribe to World of Warcraft to capture this footage since there's no high-res images or videos of Meeting Stones; they were a thing in 2005, before YouTube exploded everywhere and people cared about saving memories online.
