DS Sales Skyrocket In Japan

In Media Create’s latest weekly sales data, the numbers showed that the Nintendo DS hardware has surpassed Sony’s PSP in units sold for the year of 2005.

With help from new titles like Nintendogs and the buzz surrounding upcoming hits like Jump Super Stars, the Nintendo DS has become an item with renewed interest around it.

The latest game to unexpectedly take the charts is Training For Adults: Work Your Brain, another title directed at the “non-gamer” consumer that Nintendo is trying to attract. It has sold a total of 90,370 units since its release two weeks ago.
