Actually, “movie” might not be an entirely appropriate title, but it works for all intents and purposes.
Nonetheless, the Voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, was in attendance at E3. As it turns out, he would actually be quite easy to identify, if one were to get close enough. And naturally, people wanted to interview him, and better still, were able to record it.
Here is interview the first:
I wonder if he ever gets tired of telling that story of how he got the job? If he does, you wouldn’t know it, from all the joyful enthusiasm he puts behind telling it each time. It’s always fun to hear.
And here’s the second one, though it seems to spend more time talking about New Super Mario Bros. Wii:
Ah, so it sounds like they haven’t even begun the voicing of Super Mario Galaxy 2 or New Super Mario Bros. Wii yet.
