E3 2014 Log #5: It’s 2am and we’re still writing

For some reason I have Matchbox Twenty's "3AM" stuck in my head, which is partly responsible for my latest video log. As you're probably aware, today was the first "official" day of the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Today is when the show floor officially opened to media and press, allowing us hands-on time with (or hands-off walkthroughs of) all of the great games that were shown during Monday's press conferences.

I'm going to be honest, E3 is a ton of fun. I mean, it's video games. It's also a ton of work though. And walking too. My dogs are barkin'. Having said that, I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. E3 is one of the best times of the year for video game enthusiasts and I'm honored and blessed to be a part of the excitement each year. 2014 marks my fourth year at E3 and each year it somehow tops the last.

I may be typing this at 2:00am right now, this is what it's all about. Late nights and great games. We've got a ton of content coming your way tomorrow so be sure to check back for our some of previews and interviews from today.
