E3 Media: First Look at Western Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars will be on display for all to see at E3 in just a few more short days, but in the meantime, GameSpot has managed to get an early look at what seems to be the build of the American version of the title, complete with new video:

Aside from warning challenges to “never underestimate my Ken the Eagle! Never!”, Community Manager Seth Killian also took care to point out the following excerpt from the preview:

The most interesting factor in Tatsunoko’s US conversion is Capcom’s approach to determining how to handle content in the US game. Given the success and general positive reaction to the fan community’s feedback throughout Street Fighter IV’s development, the publisher is keeping its ear to the ground to hear what its community would like to see in the US version of the game. Obviously not everything that’s going to get asked will make it in, we’re still going to suggest that the entire Darkstalkers cast be added anyway, but, considering the impact community feedback had on Street Fighter IV, this is a unique opportunity for fans to make themselves heard.

Seth adds “Word! This release was made possible with your support, and we’ve gotten a lot of great feedback already, but be sure to tell us your thoughts.”

But so far, it seems to remain a mystery as to which characters may find themselves pruned from the rather large lineup.

Some more footage accompanies an interview with Seth Killian, who explains what the game is all about for those who haven’t been following the news of the game’s Japanese release, as well as the fact that the mini-games may not make it here completely intact:

And, for the finish, yet more fighting footage:
