Final Fantasy XV Guide: Defeating Loqi and MA-X Cuirass

At the end of chapter 2, Noctis and the gang encounter their first boss Loqi, a lieutenant in the Niflheim army. He will do battle with the crew in his mech MA-X Cuirass, along with Imperial Snipers providing back up. We recommend warp striking to the snipers and taking them out first, as they can turn the tide of the battle. Focusing on MA-X Cuirass with no distractions is the preferred method. The mech is equipped with laser guided missiles, so you’ll be constantly mashing the dodge button at times. You’ll want to take out his legs with your heavy weapon, bringing the cockpit within a closer striking range, and you can attack his arms to destroy that pesky missile launcher and saw blade. When Loqi is defeated, his mech will explode, so try and stay out of range of that. Spoiler alert: I did not. The entire fight can be seen in the video above!
