According to the latest and upcoming issue of Game Informer, Nintendo could be considering or already be in development with a keyboard peripheral for its new-gen Wii console.
If such a keyboard was released, it could possibly use Bluetooth or USB if a firmware update were released. The potential uses for a keyboard would be with the Wii’s Opera browser and the Wii’s own messaging service. At this time, there is no software planned to be used with any such keyboard.
Nintendo has not commented on the rumor at this time.
