GDC 07: Q Entertainment Unveils New XBLA Title

Q Entertainment announced that they would be releasing another game in the Every Extend franchise, this time on Xbox Live Arcade. Every Extend Extra Extreme (or E4) is a puzzle shooter where players must sefl-destruct at strategic times in order to cause a chain reaction of exploding enemies. Picking up and using the right items at the right time can increase the chain reaction and give players a higher score. The player has an unlimited number of lives, so the game is fairly casual-friendly.

One of the new additions to the franchise comes by the way of the ‘S4, Wiz ur Muzik’ mode where players can use their own music to alter the look and feel of the game and enjoy a customized E4 experience. E4 will also feature full online multiplayer play over Xbox Live, a full suite of online leaderboards, and of course, achievement points.
