Your warriors in Guardians of Middle-earth are your balanced “a bit of everything” sorts of characters. For the most part, depending on your relics and gems will depend how these characters play. Warriors are capable of dishing the damage and soaking it as well. I like to think of them standing somewhere between a defender and a striker. As of now, the warrior is category has the most guardians in it.
Thráin
A/X: Clear The Path
With a mighty throw, Thráin hurls his hammer into his Enemies. Enemies in the path of the “Clear the Path” Ability receive 25/50/75/135 Ability Damage and are Slowed, their Movement Speed reduced by 25%/30%/35%/40% for 3.0 seconds. Enemies caught in the return path of the hammer suffer the same fates. This Ability gains a moderate benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: Dwarven Valor
With the might of the Dwarven kings, Thráin girds himself for battle. While “Dwarven Valor” is active for 5.0 seconds, the Guardian reduces the duration of Controlling Effects such as Stun, Slow, Fear, Root and Silence by 20%/40%/60%/80%. Additionally, Basic Damage taken is reduced by 20%/30%/40%/50% and Ability Damage is reduced by 20%/30%/40%/50%. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Durin’s Wrath
Thráin brings his hammer down in a furious blow, rending the very earth for a long distance before him, causing Knockup to affected Guardians and Creatures, sending them helplessly into the air for a time, and reducing their Resistance to Basic Damage by 5%/10%/15%/20% for 4.0 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: Lethal Blow
Thráin delivers a sweeping blow, striking all Enemies within close range for 125/160/225/320 True Damage and Rooting them for 0.8/1.0/1.2/1.4 seconds, preventing them from moving. This Ability gains a moderate benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Dwarven Fortitude
If Thráin’s Health falls below 20%, he calls upon the strength of his ancestors and recovers 1% of his total Health each second.
Beregond
A/X: Turning Of The Tide
With a furious sweeping blow, Beregond hammers Enemies within close range, dealing 36/58/86/120 Ability Damage to those affected. Additionally, any Controlling Effects that are currently hindering Beregond are removed, and he remains immune to new Controlling Effects for 2.0 seconds. The cooldown of the “Turning of the Tide” Ability is reduced by 1.0 seconds for each Enemy struck, to a maximum reduction of 5.0 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: Shield of Gondor
With the Shield of White Tower as his guard, Beregond is able to absorb 120/180/250/330 Ability or Basic Attack Damage without taking injury, and his Movement Speed is increased by 15%/20%/25%/30% for 3.0 seconds. This Ability gains a large benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Noble Sacrifice
Beregond calls the Enemy to him with a bellowing challenge, Taunting the nearest Enemy Guardian or Creature within medium range to turn and attack only him for 0.8/1.2/1.6/2.0 seconds. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: Guard Of The Citadel
With a resounding crash, Beregond smashes his sword into the Battlegrounds. This causes all Enemies within medium range to receive 75/125/175/225 Ability Damage and be Silenced for 1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5 seconds, barring them from using their Abilities. This Ability gains a large benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Gondorian Resilience
Gathering the strength of the White Tower to him, Beregond gains a charge for each Basic Attack made against his Enemies, to a maximum of 3. Upon Beregond’s next ability use all gathered charges will be used enhancing the Ability’s effect 10% per charge.
Arathorn
A/X: Staggering Shot
Arathorn lets loose a mighty shot with his bow, striking a single target within medium range for 75/110/145/180 Ability Damage. This Ability Stuns the Enemy, thwarting them from performing any actions for 1.0/1.3/1.6/1.9 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: Dúnedain Blade
Arathorn swings his blade in a furious arc, cutting down Enemies within close range and dealing 10/18/32/48 Ability Damage per second for 5.0 seconds. This Ability also Slows Enemies by 30%/35%/40%/45% for 3.0 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Chieftain’s Focus
Directing his fury upon a single Enemy Guardian or Creature, Arathorn lands a powerful blow on a target within close range, causing 40/66/106/170 Ability Damage, while Arathorn gains 20%/30%/40%/50% Attack Speed for 5.0 seconds. . This Ability gains a moderate benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: Ranger’s Strike
Arathorn presses his Enemies with a blinding rush, striking Enemies within a Target Area for 130/180/270/400 Ability Damage and Slowing them for 3.5 seconds, reducing their Movement Speed by 25%. As Arathorn completes the assault, he enters Stealth and becomes invisible to Enemies for 3.0 seconds, or until he attacks. This Ability gains a moderate benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Heir of Isildur
Wielding the might of a Dúnedain, Arathorn strikes Enemy Soldiers, Guardians and Creatures with a Critical Hit upon every 10th successful Basic Attack. He is also faster overall compared to other ranged attackers.
Sauron
A/X: Might of Barad-Dûr
Sauron wields his mace in a devastating assault, slamming Enemy units caught within the Target Are for 45/96/148/210 Ability Damage and Knocking them away for medium range. This Ability gains a large benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: Dark Lord’s Reach
Sauron strikes a single foe with a mighty blow from his mace, delivering 60/100/140/180 Ability Damage and Rooting the afflicted Enemy, preventing Movement for 1.0/1.3/1.6/2.0 seconds. This Ability gains a large benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Shadow Walk
Shrouding himself in shadows, Sauron is able to Teleport, instantaneous moving in a location within medium range. He also gains Stealth for 3/4/5/6 seconds to hide from Enemy eyes while not attacking. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: The Lidless Eye
None can hide from the Dark Lord, if he bends his will to the search. Sauron wields this Ability to reveal all Enemy Guardians on the map for 5 seconds, and his searing vision causes 30/45/60/75 Ability Damage per second for 5 seconds to all revealed Guardians. Once the effect ends, All Enemy Guardians have fear, causing the victim to move uncontrollably, applied to them for 1.0 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Corruption
The will of the Dark Lord is great, and following the use of an Ability he adds 7% of his maximum Health as extra Basic Damage on his next Basic Attack.
Uglúk
A/X: Charge of the Urik-Hai
Uglúk mercilessly charges an opponent, Slowing the target’s movement speed by 33%/44%/55%/66% for 3.0 seconds, then causing Fear on any Enemy units within close range for 1.0 seconds, forcing them to move uncontrollably while under the effect. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: White Hand’s Whip
Uglúk snaps his whip to a target, entangling their legs and inflicting 46/84/125/175 Ability Damage as well as Knocking them helplessly into the air for a time. Additionally, the effected Enemy is Rooted for 1.0/1.3/1.6/1.9 seconds, preventing them from moving. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Orcish Medicine
Uglúk drinks of a foul Orcish spirit, regaining 13/31/49/67 Health per second for 5.0 seconds, but at the cost of Slowing his Attack Speed by 25% for 5.0 seconds. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: Fury of Isengard
Uglúk unleashes a series of three furies blows against a single target, each strike causing 90/120/150/180 Ability Damage and Knocking back the Enemy from his position. This Ability gains a small benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Taskmaster
Consumed by battle lust, Uglúk gains an increase 11% to Movement Speed and an increase of 11% to Attack Speed with within medium range of Enemy Guardians.
Mozgog
A/X: Berserker Rage
Steeling himself for the fight, Mozgog flings himself into battle with an increased Movement Speed of 25% for 5.0 seconds, increased Attack Speed 20%/39%/56%/77% for 5 seconds, and a 15% increase to his health for 5.0 seconds. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
X/[]: Vile Taunt
Drawing his enemies to him for the slaughter, Mozgog Taunts Enemies within close range for 1.2 seconds, forcing them to attack him, and Reflects 20%/30%/42%/56% Damage for 5.0 seconds. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
B/O: Brutal Draught
Mozgog pauses to drink of his foul spirits, focusing his battle rage and increasing his Basic Attack Damage by 14/27/44/68 for the next 4.0 seconds. This Ability also trades his fury for 12% of his current Health and reduces all Resistances by 10% for 4.0 seconds. This Ability gains no benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Y//: Bloodied Blade
With all the fury of his kind, Mozgog slams his blade into the battlefield, causing 80/140/230/360 Ability Damage to Enemies within medium range causing Fear for 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 seconds to those caught within the strike, causing the affected to run uncontrollably. This Ability gains a large benefit from increased Ability Damage.
Passive: Implacable
Sustained by the fires of hate, Mozgog has an increased Health Regeneration rate.
