Guitar Hero to All Next-Gen Platforms?

At the Goldman Sachs Communacopia XV Conference, Activision CEO and Chairman Robert Kotick announced that the critically acclaimed PlayStation 2 hit, Guitar Hero, will appear “on every significant new format” in 2007. Unfortunately, Kotick did not specify what he meant by “significant new platform,” thus it’s a bit difficult to tell which consoles will be seeing a version of the game next year.

First released on PlayStation 2, Guitar Hero was met with positive reviews and has amassed a cult following. A sequel to the original game is due to hit PlayStation 2 in November.

Stay tuned to AMN for the latest on Guitar Hero and more.
