E3 2012 is almost here, and the GameZone team will be attending en masse to get our readers coverage of all the latest games and announcements. Thing is, every member of the crew has something they're personally excited for, so we posed them the question:
What about this year's E3 has you most excited?

What am I most excited to see at E3 2012? Skinny jeans and hipster beards.
I kid! I kid!
This being my first visit to E3, I'm mostly excited about the environment and all the energy that I expect. I'm excited for food trucks and In-N-Out Burger. I'm excited to try games before anyone else. I'm excited to see things first-hand. I'm excited to yell “Bay Life” at one point, only to realize that I'm in LA. The whole experience is what I'm excited for. E3 BABY!!!
Verdict: Excited for In-N-Out cheeseburgers.

I'm a sucker for new technology. In fact, I'm such a sucker for technology in general, that I was one of the very early adopters of the PSP GO. With that in mind, it's not surprise that one of my most anticipated things to see at this year's E3 is none other than the Wii U.
I didn't jump on the Wii U train initially. In fact, if there was anything I learned from my previous infatuations with new tech, is to give it some time, and wait to see if it's worth getting. I figured the Wii U was yet another gimmicky system that would never realize its full potential, much like the original Wii. Even today, there are only a handful of games that truly make use of the Wii's capabilities (such as Skyward Sword).
Over time however, I grew more and more interested in the Wii U. As cheesy as this sounds, I would definitely buy the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines if it allowed the tablet controller to function as the motion tracker. Sure it's a bit gimmicky, but it's that type of implementation that would make it a clear winner over console or PC versions.
Last year we only got a taste of what the Wii U will offer, with mostly tech demos being shown off. This year I'm hoping for some truly awesome reveals, especially first-party stuff.
Verdict: It's all about the Wii U!

It's probably a toss up between The Last of Us and Assassin's Creed III. The Last of Us immediately caught my attention from their initial marketing. The whole creepy ants thing was genius and really had me going. Still, it's not that I doubt Naughty Dog's ability, but I'm ready to see some gameplay footage. We've seen enough trailers that give the background details – let's see the action.
Assassin's Creed, on the other hand, was something I never thought I'd be interested in, but after seeing their impressive gameplay trailer at PAX East I'm excited to what else this game will bring to the table. I'm hoping Ubisoft shows off some multiplayer gameplay, but I'd be just as happy seeing some more of the deadly single-player.
Oh, and the booth babes. I remember last year they literally lined them all up single file and tons of media were walking up and down with cameras just flashing pictures and video. It was funny and sad at the same time.
Verdict: Excited for Last of Us, Assassin's Creed III, and the sad folly of man.

As far as E3 goes, I’m most excited for the League of Legends booth. I’m especially intrigued by the rumored “League of Legends: Supremacy,” and I'm definitely hoping for an announcement. Is it a new mode? Is the "All Random, All Mid" style of play becoming standard? Is this another game all together? Currently we're in the dark, but there's no better place to make such an announcement than E3.
Maybe Riot will show off a new lineup of champions for us to speculate about. Hell, maybe they’ll even have one or two available to play as. Regardless, I’m excited for whatever they have in store for us. For the most part, I want to walk into E3 blind and see what blows me away, bias be damned!
Verdict: League of Legends is the best right now.

Well, I'm most obviously interested in seeing whether Capcom pulls their head out of their ass and re-announces Mega Man Legends 3, but knowing that won't happen, I'm probably most interested in the portably systems. My Nintendo 3DS still hasn't proven itself as a worthy system, and I've been pretty disapointed in just about anything that isn't Mario. Meanwhile, I still can't find a PS Vita game worth playing, and I'm hoping Sony gets their act together and gives me something to do with this shiny $250 unit.
I'm also expecting some sort of Monster Hunter news from the show, as we're still waiting on a North American version of Monster Hunter 3DS, though I'm still holding out for a Vita version. I want to see the new Fire Emblem game make it stateside as well. Also, a new portable Castlevania game is also rumored for the 3DS, which has me wondering again: why not the Vita?! That screen is just too gorgeous to not get used!
Also looking forward to outdrinking the rest of the GameZone staff. C'mon you wimps!
Verdict: Looking forward to new portable games, and sweet, sweet hooch.
