Halo 3 Multiplayer Map Names Found

It seems that not a day goes by without some astute code miner discovering another juicy tidbit of information in the Halo 3 beta code. The latest find? What appears to be a list of multiplayer maps to be present in the full game when it releases in September. The list of maps, and their descriptions, as ripped from the beta code:

Chill
Description: Halo 3 Chill

Construct
Description: Halo 3 Construct

Cyberdyne
Description: Halo 3 Cyberdyne

Epitaph
Description: Some believe the Forerunners preferred desolate places. Others suggest that few other sites survived the Flood.

Guardian
Description: Halo 3 Guardian

High Ground
Description: A relic of older conflicts, this base was reactivated after the New Mombasa Slipspace Event.

Isolation
Description: Halo 3 Isolation

Last Resort
Description: Remote industrial sites like this one are routinely requisitioned and razed as part of Spartan training exercises.

Shrine
Description: Halo 3 Shrine

Snowbound
Description: Hostile conditions did not prevent the Covenant from seeking salvage on this buried Forerunner construct.

Valhalla
Description: The crew of V-398 barely survived their unplanned landing in this curious gorge.

Warthog Inc
Description: Halo 3 Warthog Inc

You’ll notice the three maps available in the beta: High Ground, Valhalla, and Snowbound. You might also notice the map curiously titled Warthog Inc. As for what matches on that particular map might possibly entail, or at least what the name suggests, well, September 25th can’t come soon enough.
