House M.D. Game Available Now

There are a ton of House M.D. fans out there. As with any property with a ton of fans it has received a videogame adaptation. Perhaps unfortunately for House, though, that adaptation is a strictly casual. 

We don’t like to judge, and we are supposed to be taking casual games seriously, but it is difficult when the people who make them don’t even take them seriously.

From the press release: “House M.D. takes a unique approach in blending light adventure game play with mini-games and lab tests.” Yes, experience the gaming nirvana that is simulated lab tests. Everyone knows that is the best part of the show. 

How about that art style? Some art design team must have spent minutes tracing a screen grab from one of the House M.D. episodes.

Need more proof that these games shouldn’t be taken seriously? House M.D. received 4 stars out of 5 from the above website. Which happens to be the website of Legacy Games, the folks who make the game. They couldn’t even bother to give their own game five out of five? This casual game must cause some form of physical discomfort. I hope there aren’t titles on their site that received 3 stars, those games probably jump out of the screen and rape the player. 

House M.D. is available now to all “fans of the show and casual gamers,” but you are probably better off tuning into USA, because you know they are showing an episode of it right this moment.
