In this Contract, we'll have to take down the Shrieker, which is also classified as a Cockatrice. This fight is actually extremely similar to the Griffin fight, with the one exception on how you need to lure it out.
You'll once again want to have Thunderbolt brewed and possibly some Sparrow potion as well. The former granting you increased attack power and the latter giving you vitality regeneration. You also need to craft some Samum bombs which you'll use to lure the Shrieker out of its lair.
The Samum bombs can also be used during the fight to further stun the Shrieker, but since you can only hold two at a time, it will only leave you with a single one.
Much like the Griffin fight, start off with drinking some Thunderbolt potion, then use Aard to stun it, and unleash a few heavy attacks. Don't be greedy and know when to back down and dodge out of its swipes. Generally you'll get at least two heavy strikes in while it's stunned. Then simply dodge out of the way and avoid its deadly strikes. Strike whenever you get an opening, especially on its back, as that will deal critical damage.
