How to enter cheat codes in The Sims 4

So you want to cheat in The Sims 4, huh? I don't blame you. Who wants to work for the finer things in live? If I could wave my hands and magically have the house of my dreams I'd certainly do it. But I can't, so might as well do it in The Sims 4, right?

The big question is: how do you cheat? It's quite easy, really.

To enter a cheat code in The Sims 4, you must first open the Cheat Console. You can open the Cheat Console by pressing "CTRL + SHIFT + C" on PC or "COMMAND + SHIFT + C" on a Mac (even though The Sims 4 is only available on PC at launch).

Once you open the Cheat Console, you are free to input text commands into the text field to enable a cheat. You can find the full list of cheat commands available in The Sims 4 here.
