Nintencats: A Possibility?

In a recent interview, Hideki Konno has proclaimed that an additional pet simulation title may be in the works. The producer has stated that before Nintendogs, the development team tossed around several other animals to create a game about.

According to Konno, a spin off of Nintendogs may be in the works. Thats right, a simulation title may be developed centered around cats.

Work on a possible Nintencats has already been started according to Konno. “We were already starting to develop a cat-based game at the outset of this project. So we already have the cat models, voice data and so on.”
