JoWood Jumps into Next-Gen Console Development

JoWood Productions, publisher of numerous PC franchises, has announced its plans to expand game development into the next-generation consoles market.

The company is planning on a number of titles for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. While no software concrete details were given, tentative release periods for 2008 and 2009 were specified.

The Australia-based company is the successful publisher behind PC franchises including Gothic, Painkiller, SpellForce, and Dungeon Lords
