Throw some shrimp on the barbie, hang out with a dingo, and get ready to play like you live down under. Kao Challengers is hitting the PSP and get ready for some serious Aussie action with Kao.

Key Gameplay Features:

  • As well as the basic abilities of our cute hero like running, jumping and several methods of attack he can also perform lots of special actions. Flying, throwing boomerangs, cones and other objects, climbing with his long ears, swimming or skating are just beginning of the list of his abilities. Add to this the interacting with characters and controlling different objects like floating platforms or barrels, not to mention hiding in objects to avoid obstacles, and we have an extremely diversifying gameplay.
  • Real time cut scenes explain the story, help player to reach the goal, and enrich the game with a plot that turns it into an interactive fable rather then just another platform game.
  • Bonus levels with hand-skilled gameplay break the standard mood of the game giving a layer of relief after long hours and additional extra fun.
  • Control amazing vehicles including a snowboard, a catapult, a pelican, a water barrel and a motorboat.
  • Overcome over 30 challenging enemies with seven fighting techniques, from boomerang throwing to devastating tail attacks!
  • Fifteen different weapons in multiplayer mode including: bombs, fire flamer, magnets to suck energy out of your opponents, and auto-missiles.

    Time to play like you’re from Down Under

    As Kao, a brave kangaroo right out of Australia, players are challenged to save the animals of the world from an evil hunter and his henchmen. With over 30 challenging enemies, Kao is equipped with an arsenal of fighting techniques from boomerang throwing to powerful tail attacks. Kao Challengers will feature more than 20 levels within five worlds that are visually and graphically totally unique showing an environment and an atmosphere that differentiate each world and level. Kao Challengers will feature a great single player game as well as a new multiplayer mode. Kao Challengers will also include a bonus world with four additional levels set in a mysterious swamp that is ruled by an evil witch and her magical minions. The four-player wireless mode features a deathmatch with twelve weapons as well as multiplayer racing.

    Looks Wild

    The graphics are sharp and very well done. You will feel immersed in the world of Kao. Flocks of birds and fish will react to certain motions, which will give the player a feeling of actually being in the game. The game is fully 3D and looks to use the PSP hardware very well.

    The game is set for retail on March 21.
