Microsoft recently announced that in efforts of maximizing the sales of Blue Dragon in Japan, they will be releasing a bundle that includes the core console and a copy of Blue Dragon for $250 – essentially giving the game away for free, just to get an Xbox 360 into that consumer’s house.
Today, Microsoft announced they were stepping up efforts by providing a limited edition run of the bundles, wherein consumers will also receive a pack of 5 collectable Blue Dragon figures, in addition to a Blue Dragon faceplate designed by Blue Dragon character designer Akira Toriyama.
Collectors should expect to see the faceplate on ebay fairly soon after the bundle is released, and expect to pay a decent sum of money for one of them.
