Well Japanese gamers have finally step foot into space earlier this week when Super Mario Galaxy launched for Wii. However, the first day sales were less than stellar for the Wii’s biggest release this year in Japan outside of Wii Fit. It’s being reported that Super Mario Galaxy only sold 130,000 copies on its first day of release. With the weekend arriving shortly, expect sales to go up on this big Wii title.
Mario Galaxy is the latest installment of the Mario franchise and the first true Mario title to arrive on Wii. Super Mario Galaxy is set to arrive in North America on November 12. Stay tuned for our full review.
